Aged 7, Caron ‘swapped’ her curly blonde locks with those of her 5-year-old Asian cousin – an experiment involving scissors and superglue that ended in a trip to A&E and boyish crops for both children! Fortunately, Caron’s hairdressing career progressed in a far more promising direction: classically trained, Caron boasts 30 successful years in the industry, including a coveted L’Oreal Colour Trophy win. With a passion for learning and progressing, Caron has a formidable talent for crafting a complete look, using expert colour placement to enhance the shape and movement within a cut. Caron works on Mondays & Tuesdays

A stylist for over 25 years, Dan trained at iconic London salon Charles Worthington and has worked with some of the industry’s best-known names. An experienced cutter and colourist he has an incredible eye for detail and knows instinctively the best looks to suit a client’s unique features. Daniel is particularly accomplished at creating choppy, textured cuts that are easy to maintain and natural, impeccable colour. Daniel works Wednesdays and alternate Saturdays

Trained and qualified at London’s most prestigious colour salon, Dominique is a coveted colour expert, in demand with actresses, models and even the royal family. Her work has appeared in glossy magazines including Tatler and she has educated for salons all over the world, from Ireland to Prague and India - the latter proving to be a career highlight. Clients love her expertly placed highlights and classic colour work. Dominique works on Wednesdays.

Sharleen began her career at the prestigious Nicky Clarke salon in Mayfair where she went on to establish her reputation as a go-to session stylist for various publications including Marie Claire; Tatler and Hello.  

Leading London Fashion Week, Sharleen secured a role as celebrity stylist on flagship Channel 5 show ’10 Years Younger in 10 Days’.  Sharleen continues to grow her high profile celebrity clientele and dedicated loyal clients in London and now here at Tristan Eves.

A week’s work experience at Tristan Eves was all it took for Charley to catch the hairdressing bug. A Saturday job followed, before Charley enrolled at college to study her Hairdressing NVQ. Now a fully-fledged stylist, Charley is a fantastic cutter, but also adept at a whole range of colour techniques. As well as being known for her sociable and approachable nature, Charley also has a knack for delivering the perfect blow-dry.

Millie has been hairdressing since she was 15 and after a brief stint at a top London salon, she found her hairdressing home at Tristan Eves. Millie ticks all the boxes when it comes to cut, colour and condition. With a particularly keen eye for creating beautiful blondes, she is undergoing further training to make her a true colour specialist. Chatty and sociable, Millie is a popular choice for clients.

Amy has been hairdressing since she was 17 years old, training at one of the UK’s most well-known hair academies. A true maestro when it comes to colour, with a particular flair for highlights and Balayage, she is technically gifted with a keen eye for all the latest trends and techniques. Amy is looking forward to sharing her skills at Tristan Eves.

A true protege of Tristans’, Jas is a welcome addition to the much applauded team.  Her new position as Stylist is evidence of her confident administration of client care and complete authority when it comes to the application of cut or colour – not forgetting a ‘belter of a blow-dry.’

Michael manages the day-to-day running of the salon, a role he’s perfected after a successful career as the Director of a London advertising agency. His experience in managing creatives helps ensure a strong team bond with a shared vision at its heart: a successful salon offering unbeatable quality and service. Michael’s natural eye for the artistic and strength for business helps ensure the continued growth of the Tristan Eves brand.

Ellie’s love of hair started with plaiting her mum’s hair when she was a child. Three years after joining Tristan Eves as an apprentice, she earned her place behind the chair as a Stylist. Ellie is known for her blow-dries: full, glossy hair that looks as good as it feels. She also loves cutting longer hair and considers its condition just as carefully as the finished style, recommending cuts and treatments to suit each client. Chatty and friendly, she’s always happy to hear about your pets and is also known as a ‘feeder’ amongst the team. Next on her list? Mastering the art of the perfect, multi-dimensional blonde.

Sophie first came to Tristan Eves to help out on Saturdays while she was still at school. Seeing the creativity of the salon drew her into hairdressing, and two years on, she’s nearing the end of her apprenticeship. Sophie loves learning more about colour, especially watching a set of highlights come together. She has a soft spot for blondes and loves finishing hair with a big, bouncy blow-dry. Bubbly and attentive, Sophie enjoys getting to know clients and making sure they feel comfortable throughout their visit. The best part? Seeing their reaction when they look in the mirror.

Ruby has been working at Tristan Eves since she was 16 years old. Now two years into her apprenticeship, she loves the creativity of colour and is developing her cutting skills too. For Ruby, hair is personal: she enjoys getting to know clients and seeing how much a good appointment can lift their mood. She’s already earned a reputation for her head massages – clients often comment how relaxed they feel afterwards. You’ll recognise Ruby by her smile, and, quite possibly, because she’ll be wearing something sparkly.

Salon owner Tristan has enjoyed an illustrious and varied hairdressing career, working with the biggest names in the industry. After an impressive start, which saw him master his craft under the guidance of some of the most influential figures of the time, Tristan opened his first salon at the age of 23, a critically-acclaimed space that he quickly outgrew due to overwhelming demand. He relocated to a popular London salon, building up a celebrity clientele and working as a session stylist. From glossy magazine shoots to backstage work at fashion shows and awards evenings, Tristan’s reputation grew and he was soon headhunted by the legendary John Frieda salon. Television work followed – including Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and Make Me A Supermodel – before a ten year stint at Covent Garden salon Stuart Phillips.

In 2015, Tristan began planning his next project. He set up a temporary salon in his kitchen at home, building up a steady client list until he secured the perfect location for his eponymous salon. A run-down Chinese restaurant in the heart of historical Petworth was soon transformed into Tristan Eves, a destination salon offering London-quality hairdressing to style-conscious Sussex and Surrey locals. The salon now boasts over 1000 clients, with appointments with Tristan fully booked up to a month in advance.  

Despite his success, Tristan remains as committed and ambitious as ever.  Aside from his busy client base, his focus is also on providing the highest quality hairdressing education to nurture and inspire the talent of the future.
